WHAT WE OFFER

Training & Education

Our experts address your specific needs by delivering customized cross-cultural services through: presentations, workshops, trainings, classes, seminars, group and private coaching.

A parial list of seminars includes:

    Communicating Across Cultures

This training offers participants the opportunity to develop critical cross cultural skills, which will enable them to effectively and diplomatically interact with people from around the world. Participants will achieve this by first examining their own cultural identities, beliefs, and values. They will also be asked to consider their own communication styles and how they are affected by both cultural and personal factors. Once participants are equipped with the tools to assess themselves, they are ready to explore verbal and non-verbal communication patterns across cultures. This section includes an examination of appropriate forms of cross-cultural etiquette when interacting with guests from over 30 different countries.

    Managing Global Virtual Teams

This training is focused on giving managers the skills needed to effectively manage employees in a virtual environment. The course will cover the most common challenges associated with managing virtually and offer concrete solutions and strategies that can be implemented immediately following the course.

    Managing the Matrixed Environment

This training focuses on effective ways to manage and work in the heavily matrixed environments of today's leading corporations. Participants will focus on understanding the benefits of a matrix system in their organization, distinguishing the matrix strengths and weaknesses, defining and clarifying current roles and responsibilities, and adapting appropriate matrix behaviors. They will learn how to effectively influence others in a matrix, improve communication, implement critical thinking and planning tools and integrate effective meeting strategies.

What Color Is Your Mind - A Workshop on Thinking Styles

This exciting seminar will give participants important, valuable, and useful information about how their mind works. Using the Mindex thinking style profile, they will measure their thinking style, which is their own unique way of processing ideas and deriving meaning from their experience. They will learn how to put this new knowledge of thinking styles to use in practical situations, to help think more clearly, solve problems better, make better decisions, and communicate with others more effectively.

    Team Building 101

This training focuses on how to effectively establish ownership of shared goals by removing obstacles preventing the achievement of those goals. Unlike other team building trainings that often fall short due to being too generic, have a lack of buy in to the shared objectives, and/or lack of assessment of the team, Team Building 101 is custom designed and uses a combination of Interel's The Electric Maze® series, electronically programmable innovative activities that challenges teams to find and navigate a safe path without triggering an alarm. All Maze activities accelerate the learning of skills essential to team and organizational success and assure that the activities are safe and appropriate at all organizational levels, regardless of age, physical condition or cultural orientation. Simple programming of the Maze creates a training environment custom tailored to meet diverse learning goals.

    Working With Series

This training addresses the cultural, business and social issues related to working with different nationalities around the globe. It will focus on tips and strategies for effective communication when dealing with the specific country nationals in business and social situations. It will also provide the participants with a history of the culture, its values, and the effect they have on the people. Countries available include: China, Russia, Brazil, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Colombia, and many more.

    Living & Working Series

This training is focused on preparing business executives and their families for successful adaptation to the countries in which they will be working in. It will address adaptability issues in a cultural, business and social sense. It will also provide the executives with a cultural survival kit comprised of information and possible solutions to the problems and difficulties that may arise when living in a foreign country.

    International Recruiting & Candidate Assessment

This program focuses on how to effectively staff and recruit successful teams in multicultural and multinational settings. After an examination and identification of certain key elements of culture and how they could affect the hiring process, participants will be shown a number of effective strategies to help them attract, evaluate, and retain employees in the international arena.
